My name is Yusuf Zahurullah. I am a teenage American Muslim living in Rockford, Illinois where I was born. I am currently a senior at Auburn High School and captain of the varsity soccer team. I am the president of Auburn’s Model UN club and MUN is one of my passions. My interests include history and political science as well as political and public policy. I hope to make a career of these pursuits by attending law school and becoming a diplomate or lawyer. This blog will be a journal of my thoughts and observations about my own community and the political face of our country as a whole from a Muslim teen’s perspective.

  1. Hi I’m Fariha!
I was just going through WordPress and I came across your blog and I just wanted to say that I really like the idea of it. I like the whole “Muslims in my community” column, it gives a nice perspective on the Muslim community. So I just wanted to so say it’s a pretty neat blog you’ve got here. I want to do something similar with my blog except it’s a multi perspective type and I just started it and so it gave me an idea as to how to approach different perspective outside of my own. I’d totally be down with collaborating sometime to bounce off ideas because I’m a firm believer in working with others to formulate a better idea.
